Due to bureaucratic intrusions and delays by county agencies Patriots Theater has not been able to properly prepare for our audiences in the time frame given. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our supporters and audience. In light of our circumstances we are once again "taking the show on the road". Our updated schedule is as follows:

October 1st & 2nd - Patriots Theater at Lakewood Park Amphitheater, Statesville, NC. Performances start at 7:00 PM - free to the public and donations are encouraged. For more information call 704-585-6831.

October 9th - Patriots Theater at Hiddenite Center Educational Complex, Hiddenite, North Carolina- Dinner Theater- Dinner at 6:30 PM with show starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets are 15.00 per person and reservations are required. Tickets, directions and other information may be obtained by calling the Hiddenite Center at 828 632-6966.

November 14th - Patriots Theater at Eastside Baptist Church, Statesville North Carolina. performance starts at 7:00 PM. For more information call 704 585-6831.

Costumed presenters from across time and place ...proclaiming liberty and a life of service to others...through multi-media, monologue, vignettes, dance, song, and the everyday walk of life...making the commonplace to become the remarkable and the uncommon. Find yourself among them as we celebrate the "patriot" in us all.


"Patriots Theater" is a production stemming from "Founding Quotes" begun in 2000 by Rick Dixon and Chuck Houchins. Its mission was to expound and proclaim the Godly heritage of our nation and to show the indissoluble link between the revolutionary ideas of the Founding Fathers and the Holy Scriptures.

In a natural progression of events, "Founding Quotes" sought more outlets for presentation and an arena to present extensive material that portrays "patriots" throughout time.

"Patriots Theater" found its home at the 100 year old grist mill known as the Sheriff Mitchell Mill which the Dixon family restored and now live in. A natural amphitheater scape cradles the stage over the bank of Wilkes County's own Hunting Creek just below the original stone dam. The audience will enjoy a vantage point from the tiered wagon roads that provided access to the mill by local farmers 100 years ago.
